Multicultural night Washington school

Thursday, 24th April :

THE événement de l’année à Washington school !

Good evening

We are deeply proud that our son Armand is sharing with you San Francisco, a beloved and famous French song by Maxime Le Forestier.
Maxime Le Forestier arrived in San Francisco in 1971 and felt warmly welcomed by the city. During his stay, he lived in a blue house in the Castro district. It became a haven—a place where a community of free spirits, hippies, and people from all over the world would gather each evening to share a meal, just what we are doing together tonight.
This song is very special to us. It was with us throughout the preparation of this trip and served as a beautiful introduction to San Francisco, its bay and its people.
This song is about tolerance, kindness, and solidarity— very important values and maybe even more today !
We hope you’ll feel a bit of that spirit through Armand’s voice tonight.
And finally, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at Washington School for their incredible work and warm welcome.
Thank you.
